Itinerary and highlights
We will visit an Andean textile-manufacturing center and later we will make a quick visit of the archaeological site of Chinchero.
Where a natural salt-water spring emerges from the adjacent mountain and it is intricately channeled to the ponds.
Which were used by the Incas for agricultural experimentation and study the effects of different climatic conditions on crops.
After visiting Moray we will go to Urubamba to enjoy our delicious buffet lunch.
Here we can admire the amazing temple of the sun, enormous blocks of rock perfectly carved and polished. This village is currently considered the living Inca city.
Finally, we will visit the archaeological site of Pisac, where we can see the farming terraces, the temples, carvings, tunnels, the famous Intihuatana and the biggest Inca cemetery with more than 350 Inca tombs.
