passengers up from hotels from 7:40 to 8:30 a.m. Then, we go to the Sacred Valley (1 ½ hours travel time) to visit the most important places in the Valley, start with the traditional markets and archaeological site of Pisac, where you can appreciate the impressive terraces of the Inca period and the Andean people. Continuing the journey through the Sacred Valley, we stop for the buffet lunch (tourist restaurant in Urubamba). After lunch we head to enjoy Ollantaytambo fortress (30 min trip) and observe agricultural areas; the most striking is the cultivation of corn without irrigation, also growing Andean tubers and grains. After the visit to the archaeological site we head to the town of Chincheros on the road to Cusco, where we visit the colonial temple with interesting frescoes on the portico built on the foundations of an Inca building.
