Itinerary and highlights
We start with the pickup at your hotel, then we move to our first visit, it will be Chinchero, a picturesque village, where we can visualize agricultural terraces, the remains of the royal estate of Tupac Inca Yupanqui, the beautiful colonial temple built on the bases of an Inca building, then we move to Moray.
Here we will observe several Inca constructions in circular shapes, which were terraces of agricultural experimentation. Then we continue to Moray.
Here we will observe the natural process of salt extraction dating back to the time of the Incas. In addition to being able to purchase salt-based products, we will then continue to the restaurant to taste our lunch.
After lunch, we will visit the Ollantaytambo Fortress, built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from possible invasions by the inhabitants of the jungle, then we move to the archaeological center of Pisaq.
We arrive at the archaeological center of Pisac, built in the period of the Inca Pachacuteq. Its location is strategic, as it is located on top of a mountain, which allows you to have a view of the entire valley that went to Antisuyo, at the end of the tour we will return to the cusco.
