Itinerary and highlights
The journey begins with a scenic drive of approximately 4 hours from Cusco to the trailhead. From there, travelers will begin a hike of around 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach Vinicunca, also known as the Mountain of Seven Colours, located at 5,200 meters (17,060 ft) above sea level and renowned for its striking natural mineral formations.
Meeting and pickup information
- Please arrive 10 minutes before departure time. Our guide will be waiting for you by the central fountain with a sign bearing your name. If you have any difficulty locating the guide, please contact us via WhatsApp for immediate assistance.
- Pickup is available from hotels located in Cusco’s historic center. Please wait in your hotel lobby 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time. Our guide or driver will ask for your name at reception. If your accommodation is located outside the historic center or in an area without vehicle access, we will coordinate the nearest meeting point in advance. For last-minute coordination, please ensure your WhatsApp number is active and reachable the day before the tour.
