Itinerary and highlights
CITY TOUR IN CUSCO Historic center (optional)
After touring this sacred church, we will continue on foot with our group through an ancient street built by the Incas that runs from the Plaza de Armas to Coricancha, the Temple of the Sun (15 S/ entrance not included in the tourist ticket). Already in Coricancha, you can immediately observe the combination of Inca culture and Catholicism. You will also learn about the architectural differences between the Incas and the Spanish. The Coricancha was the main temple for the Incas and the center of the city from where all their highways departed. Consequently, its incredible architecture is on complete display throughout the site. (Part of the Full Tour)
