Itinerary and highlights

04:30 – 05:00 | Pick up from your hotel.
Our staff will pick you up from your accommodation. It will take us about 3.5 hours to get to Humantay Lagoon from Cusco, but we will stop for breakfast first.

05:00 – 07:30 | Cusco to Mollepata.
We will go to Mollepata, a small village located between the mountains.

07:30 – 08:30 | Stop for breakfast.
One hour before we reach the starting point for our hike, we will have a delicious breakfast in a cozy restaurant.

09:45 – 11:15 | Trekking to Humantay Lagoon.
Before we start our hike, our guide will give you some recommendations so that you can safely make your way to the top of the mountain. The hike will begin at 3,800 meters above sea level and reach 4,200 meters in altitude, so it is important to walk very slowly, without overexerting yourself.
Once you reach the top of the mountain, you will realize that all the effort to get there was worth it! Our guides will explain the origin of the lagoon and will give you free time so that you can calmly appreciate this natural wonder.

11:15 am – 12:15 pm | Free time to explore.

12:15 – 1:00 pm | Return to the transport.
Once we have finished our tour, we will return to our transport to continue our itinerary to the lunch stop. The journey to the parking lot should take about 45 minutes.
